Here’s the thing.  Obviously I don’t eat animals any more, but even if I did, I don’t see how someone could look at the particular things in this picture — what the hell is in that white bowl?  what part of the alligator is that all breaded?  what’s that creepy tube-like thing coming out of the pile of crawfish? — and think “mmm, these are good things to put inside my body.”  Shudder.

The stuff in the white bowl is a sauce for the crawfish.  The “weird tube-like thing” is andouille sausage.  The part of the gator is the tail.
Now quit getting your quinoa in a bunch and calm down.  Eating meat will become “hip” again one of these days.  Just watch.
