Holy shit! I saw that The Decemberists were playing in LA tonight and I haven’t seen them in a few years, so I thought, what the hell, I’ll see if there are tickets on Craigslist. I find this guy selling tickets for $20. The cheapest price for the show was originally $32. I figure, even if they’re fake…fuck it. Its only $40, and it’ll probably make for a good story. Anyway, I meet this guy at a nearby restaurant. He tells me he just got too many tickets. I paid him, he told me we’d probably run into each other at the show. So I get here, and these are my fucking seats. Right against the stage! These are probably the best seats I’ve ever had for a popular band I like! Anyway, my 31st birthday is tomorrow. Pretty cool.
